Nerds in love

This is how the husband asked me to marry him.
How could I say no?

I'd have been so much more impressed if he'd made better use to the triple word score squares ... and I'd challenge "Yesss", myself ...

Miss ya, kid ... not able to check things out as often as I'd like when I'm connecting from internet cafes in England ...

What a cute way to ask such a momentous question. I too like how you answered. :-)

Now...if only I could get my boyfriend to even play Scrabble with me...that would be momentous.

That is brilliant! I'm not allowed to play scrabble with my husband anymore because he kicks my ass and I get mopey.

This is so off topic but I seriously just am in love with your doggie's face. His eyes sorta droop at the side which gives him this sorta sad sorta hopeful sorta "I just wuv you" expression that I am LOVING. I just had to let ya know. :)

That is one of the sweetest things I've seen. How could you have resisted? There is no way.

That is the SWEETEST thing ever! And I love the added "s" on Yes.

You could have said no by just adding an "n" to the "o" in You. But that is just getting technical. I bet you didn't even hesitate when you said Yes. Your hubby sounds like a real thoughtful guy!

On the Deluxe version, no less! This is incredibly sweet, and you know that just posting a picture isn't going to cut it. Details girlfriend!

Being Very Serious about Scrabble (mister mrtl won't play with me anymore since I'm "too defensive"), I'm glad that someone still can find romance in the game.

That is truly a wonderfully romantic way to be proposed to. Your hubby sounds like a lovely man.

Oh my gosh, my boyfriend will drop down and worship your hubby. He is a scrabble MANIAC. He can't play with my family because we make up our own "rules" and play dirty. He is like all strategious and strict with his rules and shit. Ugh, talk about nerd to the nth degree.

But... that is a totally romantic and original way to propose! I really love it.

my father and the woman who is now my step-mom, on their first date they played Scrabble... the first word on the board was placed by her (an ultra conservative)...it was "sex"

i think that is how my exboyfriend would have asked me if we made it long enough.

Shaun will never ask so I am not going to rack my brain trying to think of how he would...but this just made me cry a little bit.
