Long Ass Post

So, last night was your pretty standard night. The husband was doing dishes, and I was doing laundry, and we were preparing for our trip(more about that later).
Then I heard it. Pop. Pop. Pop. Because they are my favoritist(I don't care what you say, it is a real word) thing in the world, I knew what that sound meant. FIREWORKS. So, I start running around like a five year old looking for the ice cream truck, trying to figure out where they were coming from.
I ran out in to the hallway, with the husband in hot pursuit. I went to both sides of the hallway, looking out the windows, desperately trying to figure out which direction they were coming from. Then it dawned on me- THE ROOF DECK. We ran up the two flights of stairs(well, I admit, I didn't run. It's kind of hard to run up stairs with a ruptured disk, but it sounds more dramatic that way.)and opened the door to the roof deck. Nobody was up there. It had cooled outside substantially, it was the perfect temperature. And, there right over the East River were these awesome fireworks. It was one of those perfect life moments. The husband and I stood with our arms around each other for about ten minutes watching. Thankful that I have supersonic hearing and That I am insane. For once those two things came in handy.

This morning I got a call from my bank. They noticed Suspicious activity. Apparently someone got my PIN number, made a counterfeit debit card and transferred money from my savings account into my checking account. They stole $1,900 from me.
Now, the bank is going to give me back the money, but I still feel icky.

We are leaving tonight for the Husband's five year college reunion. I got a haircut today. Hopefully it will somehow distract people from the fact that I have gained 10 pounds since they graduated. Oh, and I'm wearing a low cut dress to the gala tomorrow night, so hopefully my boobies will distract them too.

I spent HOURS yesterday working on some Cafe Press stuff. I've created a new line of Cancer related merchandise. Check it out here. I also added some new photography merchandise. Check that out here. 10% of the profits from the sale of all of the cancer merchandise will be donated to the American Cancer Society. FUCK CANCER.
All of the profits of the sale of the non-cancer merchandise will go towards me having a baby (which would make this blog MUCH more interesting). FUCK YOU AND YOUR INCESSANT BIOLOGICAL CLOCK TICKING MOTHER NATURE.

In a few hours I will be heading to the first of MANY physical therapy sessions for my back. God, I hope it works.

I'm sorry I'm not doing Stuff Portrait Friday. But, as you can see, I'm a little fucking busy. I hope Kristine will forgive me. I'll try to take many pictures this weekend.

I will probably be without internet access until I get home Sunday night.
I will miss you all and can't wait to read your blogs and comments when I get home.

*Note. There are 4 different cancer quotes/sayings on the Cafe Press merchandise, so make sure you scroll all the way down to see them all.

**Note#2. Now thru June 14th enter coupon code GRDAD05 to receive $10 off a purchase of $30 or more at Cafe Press.

Fireworks over the river...what a cool moment.

And I'm sure everyone will be mesmerized by your boobs.

Have fun!

That sucks about the checking account - I once had a crackwhore (really, she was a crackwhore) steal my account information and take my money, but then she got caught. It is the worst feeling in the world to know that someone is posing as you.

I love fireworks, too! Brings back memories from childhood.

A baby!!!! OOH! You so TOTALLY have to have a baby. A baby Torrie!

what with all the humping, you might end up with a digital baby. Lord, I crack myself up. ;-)

Fireworks on the roof looking over a river...sounds perfect.

My husband and I totally do the same thing when we hear fireworks, we just run out to the street though since we live in a house and not an apartment building.

Yes, it took me THIS long to be able to come over to comment.

I can only be on the computer for like 5 minutes before my back starts throbbing again.

*HUG* hope you had a great weekend!!
